I was here for a work holiday party and I was pleasantly surprised by the venue. It was very well decorated and the food was great. Staff were also very attentive. If I'm ever in the area, I'd love to try check out their regular menu and give it a more thoughtful review!

If you want the ULTIMATE comfort food, then dash over to Riverside Club as fast as you can. Nothing beats the duck cassoulet special that's currently offered on their already exceptional menu. The dish is generously portioned with a flavorful white bean and sausage ragú. The duck leg is savory, moist and hearty. You won't get the gristle, gaminess and fat that typical duck dishes are known for. I recommend indulging with a side order of toasted baguette to sop up the juices, and of course a glass (or three) of an excellent CA Pinot, and you're really in for an unbelievable gastronomic sensation. The only thing that can top that is sharing it with the love of your life...but he's not on the menu.

Great service. Food was delicious. They were busy so food did take some time to come out but still a good vibe. Parking is definitely a battle though. Recommend reser

Good eatery near downtown Sac. Happy hour from 4-6pm on weekdays, good prices! Parking is not fun, there's a small parking lot in the back but it was full and the rest of the street parking is for the neighborhood :/ Food was decent, the best part was the goat cheese appetizer. The pasta was good but nothing amazing. The burger was asked to be cooked medium rare and it was medium leaning toward medium well. Our server was nice and attentive. The ambiance is loud. Friday evening was generally packed but the tables are spaced nicely. However, it's hard to hold a conversation on the patio!

Went here on President's Day for dinner. Ordered a Riverside 'rita and short rib dinner entree with mashed potatoes and delicious gravy. That meal was delicious! Service was good and fast. My friend and I just sat at a high table in the bar area, so no wait. The drink was too orange flavored for me and reminded me more of a screwdriver than a margarita. I didn't get to see the whole space, but I believe there was a separate dining room and when you walk in there was a fireplace, comfy lounge area to the right- not sure if that's just a place to wait if they are busy or if you can grab drinks and sit there. There are also TVs in the bar area if you are looking to watch some sportsball. Would definitely go back...and interested in their happy hour as well - which seemed to end right when we arrived at 6pm. My friend got the salmon dish which looked pretty good and I think she said she liked too.

This time 4 of us went on a Sunday at noon. I had the Ahi tuna salad ($22), which was amazing. There's a slight wasabi taste to the perfectly cooked tuna. The macadamia nuts are a welcomed addition to the other magical flavors. French dip ($14) was hearty and the added ($2) onions and mushrooms were well worth it. Bread is soft and absorbs the jus perfectly. I thought it looked small at first but we ended up taking slightly less than half home. Dad had the Mediterranean skillet $14. He finished all of it. Comes with spinach, feta, sun dried tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and choice of toast, biscuit, or English muffin. The salad and skillet would both be good for low carb eaters or maybe gluten intolerant. Sat at a table (instead of the bar) this time. Service was great. Presentation was fantastic.

#flyforfood #flyforfun #Yelpfriendships On our way to a Yelp Elite Experience, my day companion recommends breakfast at the Riverside Clubhouse (which was within walking distance of our Event). I'm so glad she picked that place as parking was plentiful, food was delicious, mimosas by the bottle, and oh, Cow on the Eave of the Roof. We had mimosa with 3 choices of juice, passion orange, prickly pear and mango. I never had prickly pear before but I'm now sold. I need to get myself a glass of prickly pear for my next mimosa Cinnamon Roll Skillet- 5 stars for creativity, taste and deliver Huevos Rancheros- 4 stars because my carnitas was a bit dry. Everything else about the Huevos Rancheros was spot on Oh and of note; they have regular normal bacon and egg breakfasts if you are into your conventional breakfasts. The atmosphere, service, and deliverance= 5 stars. Our gal Kelly served us with impecable timing and recommendations. I think they have sports TV in the bar so keep that in mind if you go there for breakfast or brunch Don't forget to check out that COW on the Eave above the restaurant entrance. I'm thinking they had no where else to put him. A definite repeat next time I'm in Sacramento.

We have frequented this establishment on several occasions throughout the multitude of years. For Father's Day brunch, a friend's retirement & most recently for a happy hour friendship meeting. It was epic of course! We always love having an awesome time with friends and this particular get together was no different except for trying this restaurant which we hadn't in almost over nine years! We met the owner that visit & he even brought our dishes for our quick feast! It's ironic bc my wife grew up near this restaurant. She could have walked here if she wanted to back then. Yep through the cemetery as a shortcut! She said she even did that once & probably last bc it's crazy scary at night. LOL We loved sitting at the high bar seating and nearby were TVs if you needed to watch the important sports game! I ordered the tasty shortrib bolognese. My wife loved her salmon with delicious rice with quinoa & asparagus dish while our one friend was raving about her baja fish tacos. It looked mouthwatering delicious!!! Her husband had the delicious burger & addicting sweet potato fries! Woohoo! I still remember partying here for my wife's friend's retirement party that had twenty of us all gathering & having a fantastic time! It was so much fun bc we had couple comedic friends to entertain us! Heehee. They actually had the perfect private area for all of us to hang out! Can you believe it? Even my wife showed me that Facebook group pic but didn't want to post it here on Yelp as it would be not kosher. No matter what your special event or date can be this could be an ideal place to meet for food, drinks & enjoyment! Vibe was chill & service was great. Hopefully you get here early before their parking lot gets overcrowded! We lucked out that day! Come soon & enjoy especially that outdoor water feature fountain! So pretty.
